Here is an update for you all that I think will be an excellent addition for Both Brains and Beauty. I’m currently working with the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, CO, to set up some cool new opportunities available from yours truly. Currently, we are working on two new things:
1) Free tutoring for Children’s Hospital patients
It’s tough being a kid. It’s even tougher to be a kid living in a hospital, and to be struggling with life-or-death every single day. Many of them struggle with being unable to do many of the things most kids do, and take for granted. One way Both Brains and Beauty can help is by offering to help get these kids caught up with their schoolwork so they can jump right back into the beat as soon as they are physically ready. I am offering free tutoring to the patients of Children’s Hospital so they can get back to being kids, homework and all. If you or someone you know would benefit from this service, please contact me for more details. Additional details, FAQ, and the fine print will be added on its own page in the navigation bar as soon details are finalized.
2) Children’s Hospital Wish List items available on the BBAB webstore
Children’s Hospital has published a wish list of items they need year-round, not just during the holidays. Coming soon, BBAB will have a section with only Children’s Hospital approved items available for sale. While the store section will be available within the next couple weeks, I am still working out kinks with the online shipping in order to have items shipped to the hospital, and to get tax receipts sent out to the generous donors. Items will be available for sale as soon as they appear on the BBAB website, but until we work out a mechanism for the shipping and tax receipt issue, customers will need to either make delivery on their own, or prearrange to have items shipped to me to be dropped off.
